Bare Andy
Country, folk & pop fra ny publikumsfavoritt
I juni 2026 fremførte Bare Andy og bandet vinnerlåta «Historiebøkene» på VG-lista foran over 50 000 publikummere på Rådhusplassen i Oslo – kulminasjonen av en rask og merkbar vekst for det norske country- og folk-pop-prosjektet. Nå er de midt i en festivalsommer med 15 konserter, kjent for show fulle av energi, allsang og god stemning.
Musikalsk befinner Bare Andy seg i skjæringspunktet mellom country, folk og pop. Låtene skrives og produseres som regel av Anders Hovland Risan selv, og fremføres på norsk dialekt med sterke melodier og historier som treffer bredt.
Han har markert seg med låter som «En barsang (A Bar Song)», «Miste huet», «Flue på veggen» og «Fineste i bygda». «Flue på veggen» lå 21 uker på NRK P1, mens «Fineste i bygda» nådde A-lista på kanalen. NRK P3 har også trukket frem Bare Andy som en artist å følge med på.
I 2025 vant han talentkonkurransen SjøormCountry under Countryfestivalen i Seljord. I 2026 vant han Vestlandssatsinga under 100 Dagar. Med et stadig voksende publikum og en travel festivalsommer i full gang har Bare Andy etablert seg som et av de mest spennende navnene innen norsk country og folk-pop.

In June of 2026 Bare Andy and hsi band performed their winning track “Historiebøkene” (“The History Books”) at VG-Lista in front of 50 000 people at Rådhusplassen in Oslo, the culmination of a quick and noticeable growth for the Norwegian country- & folk-pop project. Now they are in the middle of a festival summer with 15 concerts, known for shows full of energy, singalongs and good vibes.
Musically Bare Andy at the crossroads between country, folk and pop. Their songs are produced by Anders Hovland Risan himself, and performed with his local dialect with strong melodies and histories with a broad reach.
Bare Andy has made a name for himself with songs like “En barsang” (“A Bar Song”), “Miste huet” (“Loosing your head”), “Flue på veggen” (“Fly on the Wall”) and “Fineste i bygda” (“The most beautiful in town”). “Flue på veggen” was maintained for 21 weeks at NRK P1, while “Fineste i bygda” reached the A-list on the channel. NRK P3 has also pointed out Bare Andy as an artist to watch.
In 2025 he wan the talent competition SjøormCountry during the Countryfestival in Seljord. In 2026 he won Vestlandssatsinga during the 100 Dagar festival. With a steadily growing audience and a busy festival summer in full swing Bare Andy has established himself as one of the most exciting names in Norwegian country and folk-pop.
