Hjemsøkt pop danser mellom fortid, nåtid og fantasi
Håkon Siri ga ut debutalbumet “Hei Samemafia” 6. februar 2026. Som er den første delen av et hjemsøkt popunivers hvor joik, skam, glamour, ritualer og hooks inviterer til en dramatisk dans med fortid, nåtid og fantasi.
– Som same oppvokst i Oslo har jeg alltid vært glad i kulturarven, språket, joiken og tradisjonene, men jeg har savnet musikk som speiler hvordan det er å stå midt mellom to verdener, fortalte Håkon Siri nylig til NRK.
Dette ble en viktig drivkraft i albumet, å finne lyden til det mellomrommet. “Hei Samemafia” prøver å gi lyd til det komplekse i identitet, kultur og humor, i et univers som både er popkulturelt, catchy og litt mørkt
Håkon Siri er en musiker og lydkunstner fra Nesseby/Unjarga med røtter i Bugøynes. Han er vokst opp i Oslo, mer presist Lakkegata, for så å ha bodd rundt i hele landet, og er nå basert i Bergen.

Håkon Siri released the album “Hei Samemafia” on february 6th 2026. As the first part of a haunted pop universe where traditional joik, shame, glamour, ritualss and hooks invites you in to a dramatic dance of past, present and fantasy.
- As sámi grown up in Oslo I have always loved the cultural heritage, the language, the joik and the traditions, but I missed music that reflected how it is to be in between two worlds Håkon recently told NRK.
This became an important driving force of the album, finding the sound of the space in between. “Hei Samemafia” tries to give sound to the complexity of identity, culture and humor, in a universe that is both pop-cultural, catchy and a little dark.
Håkon Siri is a musician and sound artist from Nesseby/Unjarga with roots in Bugøynes. He grew up in Oslo, more precisely Løkkegata, later having lived around the country, and is now based in Bergen.
