Miss Wednesday spiller øko-folk-rock med et fargesprakende band og blåserekke. Den onsdagsfødte frontfiguren startet prosjektet i singer-songwriter tradisjonen, og samlet derfra en hel flokk sammen til et stort og lekent band. Låtene kunne fort ha havnet på en spilleliste sammen med Joni Mitchell og Jade Bird, og er laget for å spre håp og trøst i møte med klimakrisen. Ikke bare veves dette aspektet inn i sangtekstene, men lidenskapen sprer seg i hele artisteriet hvor mulighetene i skrot blir maksimert for å kunne lage perkusjonsinstrumenter, stageoutfits og merch. Her kan man flyte på en elv av utopisk vintage hippie-vibes hvor kjærlighet, klimakrisen og livets følelser utforskes.

Med vind i seilene i 2025 har Miss Wednesday gjort alt fra å komme til finalen i den internasjonale bandkonkurransen Europavox, etablert seg som et av de mest aktive bandene i Bergen og står klar med en rekke singler som skal begynne å slippes i høst akkurat i tide til Vill Vill Vest 2025.

Miss Wednesday plays eco-folk-rock with a colorful band and full horn section. The Wednesday-born front figure started the project in the singer-songwriter tradition, and from there gathered a big and playful band around herself. The songs would feel at home on a playlist together with Joni Mitchell and Jade Bird, and are made to spread hope and comfort in the face of the environmental crisis. Not only is this aspect a lyrical inspiration, but is weaved into every part of Miss Wednesday's artistry; where the potential found in scraps and junk is maximized to make percussion instruments, stage outfits and merch. With the wind in their sails in 2025 Miss Wednesday has done everything - from getting to the final of the international band competition Europavox, to establishing themselves as one of Bergen's most active bands - and are now ready with a string of singles waiting to be released this Autumn, just in time for Vill Vill Vest 2025.
