Basstung live elektronikk fra nordnorsk brødrepar
Ned innimellom inputs og outputs i et studio i Nord-Norges Berlin finner man brødrene Simon og Mikkel, også kalt NOME. Etter å ha holdt på i ulike prosjekter hver for seg fant de fellesskap i bassmusikk, vreng og frekvensmodulasjon for et par år siden. I dag har NOME har sluppet en EP, en liten haug singler og lover ny musikk i løpet av høsten 2026.
Etter årets Trondheim Calling fikk de kudos av både lokal presse og NRK P3 for sin nyskapende og spennende elektroniske musikk. De har blitt spilt på NTS Radio, hatt takeover på Radio alHara og dukker stadig opp på radiostasjoner både fjernt og nært.
Titter man inn i krystallkula er det ikke tvil;
Publikum skal tas med ned innimellom inputs og outputs, inn i «studioet» og oppleve NOME der de funker som best. Enten det er på en klubbscene i Varanger, en skranglete klubbkjeller i Paris eller som avslutning på en svett Vill Vill Vest-kveld på Østre!

Down between inputs and outputs in a studio in the proverbial “Berlin of Northern Norway” we find two brothers, Simon and Mikkel, also known as NOME. After grinding through different projects on each side they finally found a common denominator in bass music, fuzz and frequency modulation a couple of years ago. Today NOME has released an EP, a score of singles and are promising new music this fall.
After throwing down at this years Trondheim Calling they were praised by both local press and NRK P3 for their innovative and exciting electronic music. The’ve been frequently spun at NTS Radio, had a takeover at Radio alHara and popping up on stations near and far.
Looking into the crystal ball one thing is clear: the audience is taken down in between the in- and outputs, into the “studio” and experiencing NOME where they work the best. At rural clubs as well as DIY cellars in Paris, or finally finishing out the night at Østre during this year’s Vill Vill Vest
