P. Bernt Hugenholtz (Professor)

Bernt Hugenholtz is Professor at the Institute for Information Law (IViR) of the University of Amsterdam. He also teaches at the University of Bergen, and the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center. He is one of Europe’s leading expert in the field of copyright law, and has regularly acted as an advisor to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the European Commission, the European Parliament and national governments. He is author and editor, with Prof. Thomas Dreier (TU Karlsruhe), of Concise European Copyright Law (2nd. ed. 2016), and author, with Professor Paul Goldstein (Stanford University), of International Copyright Law (3rd ed. 2013).
