Skittnere enn oljesøl fosser Poor Bambi ut av den norske oljehovedstaden og kutter inn til beinet. Som et levende motsvar til polert perfeksjon leverer de et energisk, intenst og spontant liveshow. Debutalbumet Skyscrapers Soaring, Yet We’re Drowning som ble sluppet 6. februar på Apollon Records har allerede fått betydelig nasjonal og internasjonal oppmerksomhet. Albumet fanger den frenetiske energien fra bandets liveshow og kombinerer rå aggressivitet med melodisk intelligens og et tydelig kunstnerisk uttrykk.
Plata har blitt løftet frem av internasjonale tastemakers som KEXP og Brooklyn Vegan, singelen “This One Is for Free” ble listet på NRK P3 Musikk og kåret til en av topp tre norske låter i februar. Albumet har i tillegg mottatt glitrende omtale i Asbo Magazine, samt sterke 9/10 i Metalhead.it og 8/10 fra Musimpedia of Metal

Dirtier than an oil spill Poor Bambi comes cascading out of the Norwegian oil capital and cuts right to the bone. Their debut album Skyscrapers Soaring, Yet We’re Drowning was released on February 6th on Apollon Records, and has already garnered national and international attention.
