23 years of Smalltown Supersound
Torsdag 16:00 - 16:45
Joakim Haugland (Smalltown Supersound/bylarm)
Smalltown Supersound was started by Joakim Haugland in Flekkefjord in 1993. It has since then grown to be one of the most important independent labels in Scandinavia.
The enormously eclectic catalogue ranges from harsh noise to disco, from indie to free jazz and from ambient to alternative pop.
Names like Lindstrøm, Thurston Moore, Annie, Dungen, Biosphere, Dan Lissvik, Supersilent, Kim Hiorthøy, Lasse Marhaug, Bjørn Torske, Idjut Boys, Razika and DJ Harvey (to name a few) have all released records on STS.
At Robot, Joakim will tell us how the first two decades of running STS have been, and what he´s got planned for the next decades.
This talk at Robot is open for everyone and free.
