Sofi er et Bergens-basert band med en varm, akustisk sound som blander elektroniske elementer med barnlige melodier og tankefulle tekster om utenforskap og det å vokse opp på nye steder. Vokalist Sofia Guidi, med røtter fra Italia og Paraguay, synger på engelsk, spansk og Guarani. Lytteren blir tatt med inn i et lunt univers der urolige tanker settes til vakre toner fra banjoen og melodiøs klimpring fra kontrabassen og uskyldige og fantasifulle temaer møter en atmosfære for både undring og ettertanke. Inspirasjonskildene er andre norske musikere som Susanne Sundfør, Karoline Wallace og Selma French og Sofi arbeider også sammen med den grafiske designeren Stian Fliid for å levendegjøre hennes musikalske univers i et visuelt format.

Sofi is a Bergen-based band with a warm, acoustic sound that blends electronic elements with childlike melodies and thoughtful lyrics about feeling like an outsider and growing up in new places. Vocalist Sofia Guidi, with roots in Italy and Paraguay, sings in English, Spanish, and Guarani. The listener is invited into a cozy universe where restless thoughts are set to beautiful banjo tones and melodic plucking from the double bass, and where innocent and imaginative themes meet an atmosphere of wonder and reflection. Their sources of inspiration include fellow Norwegian musicians such as Susanne Sundfør, Karoline Wallace, and Selma French. Sofi also collaborates with graphic designer Stian Fliid to bring her musical universe to life in a visual format.
